Welcome to the Deep Invasive Groundworks Corporation.
You are Mole, a small robot given the purpose of operating and maintaining the Core Diver, a large drillship designed to drop from high orbit and dig deep into the planet Morse-RXB, an exoplanet in the outer rim. Using the Core Diver, your mission is to drill as deep as possible into the planet and mine the exotic materials found within; you will then use those materials to upgrade the Core Diver and probe even deeper into the planet.
But the decent will not be easy. Drilling at such high speeds significantly strains the Core Diver, and things will inevitably malfunction. Along with piloting the drill, you must also maintain the Core Diver to keep its engine running, quickly navigating to the malfunction and restoring it to working order less the entire drill comes to a stop.
Through repeated dives and upgrades, you will reach deeper and deeper into the planet each time until eventually reaching the core, where you will learn DIG Corps' true motives.
